XMAS 3: The War on Christmas (CD only) back + win Christmas in Stereo! + Ruby Isle! + New shirt! + ObamaRad + Young Sinclairs sneak peek!

Last fall we released XMAS 3: The War on Christmas in a limited edition of 100 copies packaged with a comic book and sold out the run in a couple of days. We happen to have 50 copies of the CD left over so we are offering those copies for sale this year with a bonus - everyone who orders the XMAS 3 CD will also be entered in a random drawing to win a copy of the long out of print Christmas in Stereo and XMAS 2 CDs.*
Also in keeping with the fact that the original version of XMAS 3 was a benefit for Oxfam, $2 from the sale of each of these CDs will be used to buy toys for kids who would otherwise go without at the Athens Boys and Girls Club.

Kindercore Shop: now with ART! Soon vinyl!!!! Then Ruby Isle!!
Hello peoples!
I am in the process of updating the Kindercore shop with new stuff. I just uploaded 3 original one of a kind acrylic on wood paintings by The Buddy System’s Lauren Gregg. Buy ‘em HERE!
In the next few weeks I will be adding a vinyl section to the shop where you can buy Kindercore stuff that people have long thought was out of print (but was really just in my closets and shed). Sorry eBay, looks like those jacked up prices for Of Montreal and Dressy Bessy vinyl have met their match!
Then we’ll drop the Buddy System/Ruby Isle - Return to Buddy Isle color vinyl split 7″ featuring “Tesla Sez” and “Flagpole Sitta” from the Buddy System and “Hey Hey Hey” and “No Sweatpants” from Ruby Isle!!
Of course none of this compares to the main event - Ruby Isle’s debut “Night Shot” - which hits the streets and the internets on 9/16 but will be debuting in our shop exclusively sometime in the next week or so.
So why not head over to the shop and treat yourself to something pretty? You’ll be happy you did. Promise!

ObamaRad.com Launches Friday 8/8/08
This Friday Jeff Griggs, Nick Canada and I are launching a webstore to raise money for the Obama campaign in GA. You can check out the front page HERE and add us on MySpace HERE.
Please help us spread the word, this election is a big deal (no, seriously… haven’t you heard?!) and we really want to help grab our fair state from the clutches of the GOP.
Here is some more info from the site explaining things and what have you…
“After looking in every tube on the internets, we found that there are very few options to A) get rad-looking and inexpensive Obama t-shirts and B) connect a solid monetary high-five to Barack Obama.
We think our shirts are awesome, and we hope you do too. But, the best thing about these shirts is that we’re donating 25% to help Obama win the election in November. Not 25% of the profit, mind you, but 25% of whatever you decide to spend. In essence, if you buy a $10 shirt, you’ve helped us donate $2.50. If you buy a $12 shirt, you’ve helped us donate $3.00. If you buy $1256.38 worth of shirts, you’ve helped us donate $314.10… You get the idea.
About the Donations: A large part of the impetus behind the creation of Obamarad.com was the realization that our home state, Georgia, is actually in contention for the first time since 1992. taking Georgia from the GOP this year would be a massive body blow to the far right and we want to do everything we can to ensure that the Peach State goes Blue. Subsequently, we’re donating whatever we can to the Georgia Campaign for Change!
About the Shirts: All shirts are high-quality, super-soft American Apparel Tees. Unlike other printers, we’re not caking the ink on these shirts so you feel like you’re walking around with a vinyl car seat attached to your chest. You’re going to be comfortable, and you’re going to look like a million fucking dollars. We’re starting off small, but plan on adding designs as we can afford it.
