born sometime in late 2001, The Agenda sprang forth into the Athens scene with a very drunken and sloppy (if not memorabe) show at the Ultramod Compound before embarking on a 2 year journey of recording, touring, drinking, and fighting. combining equal parts 60's garage and 80's hardcore punk, the Agenda dubbed themselves modcore. as a live group they were always a site to see. normally taking the stage in matching black outfits and arm bands, nearly every show the Agenda played was a mix of high energy and chaos. after releasing Start The Panic in 2002 the band set out on one US tour and two succesful trips to the UK, incuding a slot at the Reading and Leeds festivals. while the band were recording their follow up, the double album would-be masterpiece "Don't Bring a Trash Can To a Chair Fight Motherfucker", the members were tragically killed in a bizarre gardening accident. and so it goes. the band may have died, but the music lives on.
