When Kindercore signed Of Montreal back in 1997, we knew they were going to be huge. We just didn't realize it was going to take 10 years for that prediction to come true. Before Kevin Barnes discovered the 808, Of Montreal worshiped the 60s and kindercore documented this era with several quirky and charming releases. Two of these releases remain in the Kindercore catalog and lucky for us one is the amazing Aldhils Arboretum, their final guitar pop masterpiece and the other is the epic Coquelicot Asleep In The Poppies. As the saying goes, "you can't know where they are going without knowing where they have been".
