Kincaid was the original Kindercore band. Label founder Dan Geller started this project with high school friend Greg Harmelink after the two moved to Athens, GA for college. Co-founder Ryan Lewis later joined on the drums and suggested they put out their own single on the label that was to later become Kindercore. kincaid. played Pure early indie pop, unpretentious, sincere and catchy. Just the way it should be. From their first lo-fi release Good Citizen of the Month to the more ambitious Super Hawaii, a concept record about the end of the world, kincaid was the band that started it all in Kindercore land.
